Introduction:
To crown it all, racing in the Caribbean – what can be better than
racing on a stunning yacht in the beautiful conditions of the Caribbean
sea?
Persuasion
and Perseverance will be competing in the prestigious Caribbean Big Boat
Series taking place during the first few months of the year. Both the
yachts have Caribbean rating together with their MCA rating.
St Lucia
Regatta in January, St Marten Regatta in March, BVI Spring regatta end
of March and the Grandaddy of them all Antigua week at the end of April.
All of the
regattas are a series of races run over three or four days with a lay
day for partying in the middle. There are parties, beach barbeques and
volumes of rum cocktails to be enjoyed.
If you have
never raced in the Caribbean now is the time to do it. Totally unlike
anything you have ever experienced before, warm winds, crystal clear waters,
tropical nights and an atmosphere that shouts ‘serious fun’.
